Daily reflection _ Easter Vigil

WE WATCH, WAIT AND PRAY
Dear Jesus, we look forward to Your triumph over the grave, for You have won new life for us. With faith, may we see You in Your glory!
Holy Saturday Readings - Vigil in the Holy Night of Easter
Our reflection, today, is in the form of a contemplative prayer:
We watch. We wait. We wonder. We pray.
We stay a while longer and just stare.
We face this tomb, so close at hand.
No roar from the heavens will distract us now.
Instead, we sense the earth moving beneath our feet.
We hear a groaning, a moaning.
The earth cannot hold this Body much longer.
These bones, this Body,
will rise again.
And as we hear the earth groan,
we listen for the sound of our name.
