Daily reflection _ let it be known this day

LET IT BE KNOW THIS DAY
Reverence and respect for God's commandments teach us the way of love-love of God and love of each other.
Deacon John Ruscheinsky
How do you view the "law of God" negatively or positively?
In Paul's second letter to the Corinthians: Paul's main concern was to defend his ministry as an Apostle. His credentials have been challenged, and he responds by affirming that his qualifications come from God alone.
Jesus taught us that reverence for God's law which frees us to love. Jesus showed reverence during His public ministry for his Father, for the Lord's Day, for parents, for life, for property. He showed respect for another person's good name, for one's neighbor and even for us to cultivate self-respect. Reverence and respect for God's commandments teach us the way of love-love of God and love of each other. What is impossible for mere humans is possible to God for those who have faith in their heavenly Father. Every day God offers us the grace to love more as He loves, to forgive more as He forgives, to think more as He thinks, and to act more as He acts.
In the Responsorial Psalm we acclaim: Holy is the Lord our God, for He is forgiving. Let it be known this day that we will walk in the path to life as Jesus showed us by following God's commandments!
