Daily reflection _ be my helper

BE MY HELPER
I will praise you, Lord, for you have recused me. You take pity on your children; O Lord, be my helper!
Deacon John Ruscheinsky
You've overcome so many things, and, every time, you've grown through sheer determination and the wisdom that you've shown. So, as you face this journey, from the moment you begin, know that God will guide you, and you'll have the strength to win and be healed. (An Inspirational message by Emily Matthew)
In today's Responsorial Psalm we acclaim: I will praise you, Lord, for you have recused me. You take pity on your children; O Lord, be my helper!
In the Scriptures for this Sunday we read about God wanting creation to live and be whole. You get wholeness, the readings say, by healing-or, maybe one should say, by restoring the wholeness God gave human beings from the beginning.
How do you accomplish the healing that makes you whole? Through your faith in Him? Whether you're like the psalmist who had recovered from a serious illness or the woman with a hemorrhage or the little girl thought dead, the message is the same. "Do not be afraid; but have faith."
We will always waver and stumble and fall in this life. May we look for a greater balance for our lives, a larger perspective, a truer patience. We want the long-term view that experience in Your ways gives to those who know and trust you, our Lord.
Thank you for being my helper!
