Daily reflection _ miracles are around us

MIRACLES ARE AROUND US
Miracles not magic in our daily life are the result of God's love, and our willingness to cooperate with His grace in our daily living.
Deacon John Ruscheinsky
Over the years as director of Immaculate Heart Retreat Center while I have heard many say they are not interested in magician - style miracles, there is a greater willingness to see other genuine miracles in their lives. In several discussions with people - I find it refreshing to hear these words: "miracles happen all the time." What do they mean when they say this? By this they meant that in life there are many signs of our heavenly Father's love and extraordinary care in the peoples that we meet and things that are good in life. Our relationships - first and foremost with God and then our families and friends around us, brings us much joy. These relationships also helps us to grow into the person God wants us to be. The people around us help mold us into the person we are, all by the help of God.
Signs from God require some willingness to be open and to see and to hear His word working in human life. The signs are there; it is up to us to see them, to be active in our faith, proclaiming the joy of the Gospel. As the Lord said to Moses in today's scriptures: "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward." Miracles not magic in our daily life are the result of God's love, and our willingness to cooperate with His grace in our daily living.
Miracles are around us, do you see them?
