Daily reflection _ love one another

The Commandment We Need To Follow Is,
"LOVE ONE ANOTHER"
We are all called to be good servants to one another each and every day of our lives.
Deacon John Ruscheinsky
In today's Gospel Jesus says, "Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it" (Lk 17:33). If God is Love, then anything unloving or unyielding in our spirit must be surrendered before approaching final union with the Lord. Hardness of heart isn't compatible with love. We must let it go!
In the Scriptures, both John and Jesus tell the disciples to keep their focus. The Commandment they have to follow is not a new one, it was the first and most important Commandment given to Moses. "Love one another." The world, too, is full of noise and chaos. There is a lot of empty teaching aimed at false promises to make us feel good. So we, too, must focus on staying the course with Jesus Christ.
In the Responsorial Psalm we acclaim, "With all my heart I seek You; let me not stray from Your commands" (Ps 119:10). We are all called to be good servants to one another each and every day of our lives.
The Commandment we need to follow is, "LOVE ONE ANOTHER!"
