Daily reflection _ holding to the vision

HOLDING TO THE VISION
We have been given the knowledge of the mystery that Christ is in us. And when we come to realize this in our being, we hear the call to serve God and one another. We are "holding to the vision!"
Deacon John Ruscheinsky
In today's Responsorial Psalm we acclaim, "In God is my safety and my glory" (Ps 62:8). Let us pour out our hearts before Him. Our heavenly Father is true Love for us, the only true, steadfast Love - pure, firm and eternal. We can now pronounce the word and recover its value in our lives. We can now believe in love because we believe in God. We are called to serve for the common good in society and families. Our whole life and the work that we do are all for our Father's eternal Kingdom.
Florence Scovel Shinn once wrote, "Every great work, every big accomplishment, has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement." St. Paul, in his Letter to the Colossians, wrote, "I am a minister in accordance with God's stewardship given to me to bring to completion for you the word of God...to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; it is Christ in you, the hope for glory" (Col 1:25,27).
We, too, have been given the knowledge of the mystery that Christ is in us. And when we come to realize this in our being, we hear the call to serve God and one another. We are "holding to the vision!"
